Theatre company Premier Stratagème by Giuseppe Chico and Barbara Matijevic is organizing an audition for their next piece How to perform a nation that will premier in June 2018 at the Rencontres chorégraphiques internationales de Seine-Saint-Denis

We are looking for performers (male and female) experienced in dance and at ease in working with text and improvisation.

We will favour performers with diverse experiences in the disciplines such as: acrobatics, parkour, martial arts, gymnastics, cascade, self-defence$, firearms handling, singing, urban dances…

The piece will be based on the appropriation and re-creation of a collection of Youtube tutorials and will involve the ability to learn a variety of practices and know-hows related to the use of the human body.

After an initial selection by CV, an audition will be organized in Paris between 25 and 30 September 2017 (place and time to be confirmed).

Requirements: Good level of English (touring both in French and English).

Availability: 5 to 7 weeks between the end of October 2017 and May 2018 (to be defined)
